[/ezcol_3quarter]Our annual golf day took place on the 11th of the 11th month Armistice Day at Germiston Golf Course. Driving rain and blustering winds could not stop these golfers taking on this course! Thanks to Tania Fredericksen who put together this awesome golf day for us, we could never have done it without you! Plenty poppies around to commemorate all the members of the armed forces who lost their lives in various wars. Sponsors set up their stands very tastefully and entertained the golfers as they moved along the course. Thank you so much for supporting us! Some golfers had a terrible day and ended up with the longest day awards of potties and dustpan sets as well as lilos as they need to consider their golfing future, others had a fabulous day, our winning fourball appreciated their springbok trophy very much. They said it was the closest they could ever come to being a real springbok! Prizes for every golfer were available. Raffles won for booze, sweets and mystery prize, best dressed and of course our second and third place winners. Fines for all sorts of offences were handed out and in true golfer style, nobody objected, the took the shots and paid the cash! Thanks to Tobie from Off Course Golf Promotions for the stunning first prizes and also the auctioning off of memorabilia and golf getaways. Germiston Golf course thank you! Eugene and the team really supported us with a few free rounds of golf as prizes and of course, the smooth running of the day. Thank to all the friends of Kindness Corporation for the gifts, donations, willing hands and supportive hearts. Here’s to 2017 and we hope to see you all back then!
